‘Hail, Caesar!’ – New Trailer

Due to my howls of laughter, I had to watch the latest trailer to Hail, Caesar! twice just to hear the entire exchange between Ralph Fiennes and Alden Ehrenreich. This trailer is perfect. It captures the essence of the film, tells us almost nothing about the plot and has me more fired up than I thought possible for Hail, Caesar!, a movie that was already on my radar due to my having been a rabid fan of the Coen Bros my entire life. At the tender age of 11 I discovered the Coen Bros when I saw Raising Arizona (1987) on HBO and my love of the Coen Bros only intensified over time as I repeatedly saw classics like Miller’s Crossing (1990), Fargo (1996), The Big Lebowski (1998) and No Country for Old Men (2007). While those films might be my personal favorites of their work, for my money the Coen Bros are two of the best filmmakers alive. I’m also a sucker for any great book or movie about Hollywood history and this movie looks like it might be one of the best movies about showbiz in decades. February 5th can’t arrive quickly enough.
