WR136 – Dunlop, the Hansons, and the Rage of Playoff Hockey

Share

Welcome to the playoffs, hockey fans!  Nick Stevens swings by to chat with co-host Parker Dixon about George Roy Hill’s iconic sports film, ‘Slap Shot’ (1977), starring Paul Newman in one of his most cherished roles.  Also present is plenty of liquor, fresh anger due to an(other) early playoff exit by Parker and Nick’s favorite hockey team (the beleaguered Washington Capitals), and a cornucopia of names you’re not likely familiar with if you aren’t into hockey.  Enjoy the ride!
